My name is Renee Boley and I am a fashion designer,
pattern-maker, and dressmaker
from
Boston Mass. I have sold my designs in boutiques
such as;
The
Secret Garden, Baby News,
Jellybeans, the Children's Cottage, and the Children's Orchard.
I love to
design
as it is never boring. There are always new trends and styles coming out
and it's so fun keeping up with them! Sewing is a fabulous skill to learn and a very
rewarding
career to someone who feels they have the passion to "make it work".
(Yes!! Tim Gunn).
I look forward to sharing a lot of patterns and designs with both the seasoned
sewers
and the welcomed "newbies". I love the thought I may help an aspiring
dressmaker and/or
fashion designer with one of my guides, bringing them one step closer to
their dream or goal!
My Goal-
My goal is this: I desire to help anyone who wants to learn to sew, create
and design
something, regardless of their level of sewing skills. I pour my heart and
soul into
every guide I produce. I
create a step-by-step tutorial; one that is most thorough and easy to follow.
Preparation time to produce a guide takes anywhere from one
month to four months. I absolutely love what I do and feel very
passionate about it. I hope it shows and hope you have a great time
visiting my website.
Disclaimer-
We currently do not mind people using our patterns to make items for sale
out of their own
home. I feel if you make something from my patterns good enough to
sell then by all means, go for it!!! I love the thought of helping people earn a
living doing something they love from their own home.

Me, sometime this year, sorry, not the best photo.
Below are photos of a few of my gowns from a
destination wedding gown collection I put together in 05
for the National Bridal Market located at the Merchandise Mart in
Chicago. After it's viewing I was very lucky to be invited to partake
in the Deb New Designer Awards later that
year.
LaDonna (my personal favorite):
Made with 100% silk charmeuse, silk chiffon
and silk lined.
I love this gown as I thought it the most sexy and romantic looking
destination gown I had ever made
with it's several layers of silk chiffon ruffles.
Eva-Marie: Made with 100% silk charmeuse
ruched at the sides, front and back with a large silk
charmeuse bow hugging just below the buttocks. Very sexy and designed to
look like a 1950's style bathing suit.
Camille: Silk charmeuse strapless tube-style
dress with an empire waist attaching 3 full flowing layers of silk chiffon.
Eva Marie: A silk charmeuse bodice designed
with an over one shoulder silk chiffon long braid.
The attached skirt was over-laid with 4 layers of flowing silk chiffon in
asymmetrical design.
The ruched sash accented the natural waist.
Ragdoll Costume
Below are pics of a 2007 ragdoll costume and wig I designed.
